Stephen Dickson, BSC (hons), MRPharmS is an experienced pharmacist (Reg No. 2050927) of 20+ years. Stephen invented MethaMeasure in 2004 out of his concern for patient safety while he was dispensing large volumes of methadone daily in an east end pharmacy in Glasgow – where he still works as the Superintendent Pharmacist of the Dickson Chemist group. Dickson Chemist has been family owned and operated since it was started in 1978 now operating nine NHS pharmacies in the greater Glasgow region.

Stephen also works in several other businesses, working with Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for over a decade in the UK and owning one of the largest online controlled drugs registers in the UK (CDRx).

In his spare time, Stephen plays guitar in several bands (including a Ceilidh band), is on the board of directors of a semi-professional theatre group (where he generally functions as the costume guru); oversees their MethaMeasure North American operation; and is a frequent speaker at LDN conferences internationally.
